Anyone remember this gem?
Well, the simple, fast-paced gameplay on this one never gets old. In fact, sometimes it gets new...or something. I really don't know. The real treat with this one is that you can customize the appearance of characters, music, heck, even the menu graphics. Basically, it plays like a simplified, Mario-ized Smash Bros. You stomp on people to kill them and you get items...or you play tag. My personal favorite game mode is Tag. I'll never know why. Something about it is just so satisfying. With this game being so great, you can imagine how hyped I am for the reboot/remake/sequel, "Super Mario War: Stomp Arena." What do I rate this thing? That's hard, considering the vast amounts of customization, so I'll just go with the in-game defaults for the ratings.
Graphics: 7.5/10 (It's a mixed bag, really)
Audio: 10/10 (Great, and it really supports the gameplay)
Concept: 10/10 (Can't go wrong with a Smash-esque game)
Physics: 10/10 (Perfect.)
Controls: 10/10 (Also perfect.)
Gameplay: 9.75/10 (Amazing)
Overall: 10/10
